Meet the Sisters!

I've resorted to emailing everyone for their information. Thank you for your responses!

Courtney White
Courtney's first date with her husband occurred at the Dixie College homecoming dance. Her parents were up north so she got up early to clean the whole house by herself (wanted it to look good for her date). It was the best date she ever had. Probably because she was so excited to finally be going out with the one guy I really liked. About 2 a.m. they were headed home she feel asleep on the way home(remember she cleaned my whole house by herself and she was up very early to get it all done) WELL she didn't realize that my date also was snoozing too. They hit a parked car and put my date in the hospital with a punctured lung and it collapsed. I hit the windshield with my face and broke up the dashboard with my legs. I Poor Kerry was in the hospital for a week. But spending every moment she could with Kerry they really got to know each other. One month later they were engaged and 3 months later they were married. She was 18, he just turned 22. They just celebrated their 19 anniversary, they just had number 8 child, Life just gets better and better.

Her most favorite vacation has been going to Hawaii just last year--even though she ended up coming home with kidney stones! Something interesting is that Kourtney is terrified to fly in airplanes, but has to travel for her work. She is serving as the teacher for the 11-12 year old in the primary and her and her husband are the Shepard couple in the ward.

Marissa Dyer
Marissa and her family have been in our ward for almost three years. She has 3 kids, 1 girl and 2 boys. Marissa loves to do anything outdoors. She loves running and reading as well. Relief Society Party-The Results!

The Relief Society Birthday Party was fantastic!
Last night our Relief Society Activity Committee hosted the birthday party and served us a yummy dinner and everyone pitched in bringing cupcakes. They had the cultural hall all decorated and looking "springy."
When you came in they had you weigh in your purse on a scale and log the weight. Congratulations goes to Rachel McIff for the HEAVIEST purse and Betty Bell for the LIGHTEST. We had dinner and then Mary Murdock gave a great talk on the different stages of life we are all in using different purses from a little girls purse to a grandma purse. They played a game to see what all was being carried in those big bags and gave out a few prizes to add to them. Finally, we got to have lots of delicious cupcakes provided by you, the sisters!
Thank you to the fun committee for putting together such a great night. They worked hard! And, thanks to all who came out and visited and ate and made their efforts worth it!
Cute decorations, right?!
The "Weigh In"
(I should probably remember to take more pictures. I guess I was busy eating and gabbing!)
